One of the pioneers of Kaikoura, Mr. William Morris, died last week at the age of 91 years. Me was born at Tuston, Herefordshire, and came to New Zealand by the sailing ship Surat <in 1874, landing at. the Catlins River, where the vessel was wicked ou-jth.e rocks.
