The Gee-Hennie encounter promises to be highly interesting, especially as the former comes to Gisborne with a splendid record of successful performances, and those who saw the Bennie-Gregory ihout at the last tournament will recall the stirring exhibition given by the Hawke's Hay amateur. ■foe Franklin is in fine trim just now, and bis contest with Ted O.vley, of Pahiatua, is creating considerable enthusiasm among followers of the sport here.
