RUGBY LEAGUE
CANTERBURY HEADQUARTERS (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHUBCH, last night. The Canterbury Rugby League lias decided to relinquish Monica Park, which has been the headquarters of tho league code for many years. Arrangements in that regard have been completed by Mr. C. A. Siicdden, chairman of the New Zealand Football League, who states that the sole reason for abandoning Monica Park is. that, the ground has proved a financial burden-to the league.
