About- £IOO worth 01 property was stolen from the residence of Mr. E. YY. Friedlander, of Remuera, which was entered by thieves last week-end. When Mr. Friediantter returned from a holiday on Tuesday evening lie found the house had been thoroughly searched. .An entrance had been gained by forcing a window. About £4O worth of jewellery was taken. Fortunately Mrs Friedlander took most of her* jewellery with her. Close attention was paid to Mr. Friedlander’s wardrobe, from which two complete suits and three or four pairs of trousers were stolen. Other articles taken included a camera and a clock.
