MATAWAI STOCK SALE
RECENT RATES EXCEEDED Practically.. Hie whole of the yavdingi of about Ji,ooo sheep was sold a.t the Malawai stock sale yesterday at prices in advance of recent rates' at Matawhero. Good two-iooth ewes, sold up to 10s; smaller sorts, 6s Cd ; four-tooth ewes, Ss 3d ; three-year to four-year ewes to 9s; four-tootli to ffve year, 7s 6d; four-tooth lo six year, 5s 3d to 6s 6d. Fair sorts of woolly lambs made 4s 7d, While misted sex lambs sold from 3s Id to 4s 6d. Fat and forward wethers brought 6s 9d to 8s fid.
