VISIT TO JAPAN
KING AND QUEEN OF SIAM (Received April 8, 10 a.m.) 1 TOKIO, April 7. For the first time in 50 years Japan has been visited by a reigning monarch. On tho arrival at Yokohama of the King and Queen of Siam they were saluted with 21 guns by the cruiser Lsuzu. The station plaza was densely crowded. The royalties proceeded to Kasumigaseki Palace, where they are staying with the Emperor, who will confer a decoration oil the King and Queen. An elaborate programme of functions has been arranged.
