Voui/.elos placed a wreath of dowers picked from the grave of Byron at the foot id’ the statue. The island was on tele last, night, and there were torchlight dances. In honor of the English Poet, [.aureate, Mr. John Maseliehl, a largely attended reception was held to-day in Athens t’niversitv. .Mr. .Maseliehl spoke of English poetry, past and present.
