USE OF SHEEPSKINS
NEW PROCESS INTRODUCED A new use for sheepskins was dislilaved at Hie Rritish Industries Fair in Birmiiigh'iiii, when Sir Thomas Wilton!, High Commissioner for New Zealand, was shown cushions and handbags in delicate Persian art designs, in ami fact it red under a new process, Four of these articles were purchases made by Her Majesty the Queen on her visit to the fair. Tho success of the process opens up 'real possihili* ies for new uses of sheepskins. The High Commissioner was informed that the New Zealand sheepskins, us the result of eo-opera-fion in research with the New Zea’and Scientific Research Department, are particularly suitable for the purpose.
