SYDNEY YEARLING SALES
PRICES GENERALLY LOW 1 SYDNEY, April 7. At Die yearling sales at lhmdwick there was a, fair crowd, but bidding was slow and prices generally low. Nine sons and daughters of Air Balloon, sire of the Victorian Derby winner, made only 252 guineas. Even the Moabite stock failed to arouse enthusiasm. A colt by Australian Sun made 330 guineas, and another 200 guineas. The bidding for six lots by Brazen improved, the highest price paid being 6Cogns. Mr. J. D. Jamieson bought a colt by Brazen at lOOgns. and one by Magpie at. 90gns. Mr. J. VV. Lowe paid 60gns. for a Shilling Jets colt. A Rosscndale colt made 70Ogns. The Sydney Cup winner, The Dimmer, is to be auctioned at the end of the week.
