ARMED BANDITS

MILK VENDOR ROBBED

SYDNEY, Feb. 9.

Three armed bandits stopped a bus in Summer Hill last night, pulled the conductor, John Wiles, off the back of the bus, threw him to the road, and unsuccessfully tried; to get his bag. Wiles put up a plucky tussle, and foiled the bandits.

Shortly after 3 a.m. on Saturday two armedi men held up and robbed Charles Cook, a milk vendor, of Coogee, who, while driving his motor wagon in Paddington, was rushed by two men, who wore black masks. They both escaped.
