PROPOSED ABOLITION HIGH COURT HEARING (Eloc. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.*) (Received Jan. 22, 2 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Jan. 22. Tho High Court hearing has concluded in an appeal brought by the Attorney-General of New South Wales and others against the decision of the State Full Court, which held that a bill to abolish the Legislative Council could not be presented to the Governor for the King's assent until a referendum of the people had been taken. The court adjourned sine die.
