HIGHWAYS INSPECTION UNLICENSED LORRIES Inspections made throughout the counties jointly concerned in the scheme, for traffic control wore reported upon to the Cook County Council at its monthly meeting to-day' hv tin* counties traffic, inspector, Mr. W. 11. bruit, as follows:
"No. I section.—l have made four trips over this district lor the purpose of watching heavy carting. One unlicensed motor lorry was located. "No. 2 section.—One trip was made lo Motu and four additional trips as far as Te Karuka, Kanakanaia and Whatatvitu, where one outside motor lorry was located, unlicensed. . “No. 3 section.—l visited this district between Gisborne, Tuparoa, and Hicks Bay from Jammy 15 to 18, and one unlicensed motor lorry was detected at Hicks Bay. ' ‘‘Here.
