Mr. Moloney and Mr. Stevens are still conferring, and the Australian undertaking is believed to have paved the way for- the settlement of one of the more difficult factors. The setting of a minimum juice has been suggested as a method to be followed in settling the butter question in the treaty itself. Mr. Moloney and his party have left for home. In :i brief statement Sir fi corgi' I'erley, on behalf of the Canadian Government, said: "We had a most cordial discussion with our Australian friends, and both sides are hopeful that satisfactory results will follow, and we will be able to arrange an agreement beneficial to both countries,"
