CONSOLIDATION SCHEME (Received Dec. 31, noon) NEW YORK, Dec. 30. llail stocks rushed up to to eight dollars a, share, the entire stock market being stimulated to-day, leading industrials and utilities gaining two to five dollars on an announcement by President Hoover in Washington that the eastern railroads had agreed upon consolidation into four independent systems. The railroads are the Pennsylvania, N’evv York Central, Baltimore, and Ohio Nickel Plate system. The Wabash seaboard system provided for. under the inter State Commerce Commission’s plan will be abandoned.
