There was nothing surer, he added, than that the. levy would he increased by the. next session of Parliament. Air. Leadley also made it clear that the Unemployment Board, realising that, it might not lie able to find work for all those who wanted it, was making provision for sustenance payments, hut there would be adequate safeguards against these deteriorating into the dole.
