BOILERS BURST ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE (Por Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. The Secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department received the following wireless message tit 3.20 p.m.: “S.s. Cabarita 1-at. 40 degrees 11 minutes S., longitude 149 degrees HD minutes Ei sent an alarm signal, and advised a boiler mishap, and requested ships in the vicinity to stand by as the boilers have burst. The Talunc is hastening to the assistance and expects to arrive at 9 p.m.” The following advice was received from the radio at Awarua in reference to the s.s. Cabarita mishap, from the Talunc to the Hobart radio at 10.44 p.m. on December 27: “Just passed Cabarita. O.lv. ”
