FOG IN BRITAIN
WORST FOR MANY YEARS GENERAL DISLOCATION (British Official Wireless.) Roc. 10 a.m. 11(5111!V, Dec. 23. In parts of the London urea the fog last night became thicker than for many years, and in some places the visibility was only 3ft. or 4ft. A moderate fog continued early to-day, giving place to light rain in some areas. Similar conditions were experienced in many parts of England, especially in the Aiwluiius and on the east coast, although the southern counties and coasts experienced bright sunshine throughout yesterday and again to-day. \\ Idle vessels were heid up in the Thames estuary, the visibility was quite good at Southampton and Hull.
