The Sydney Harbor Trust’s annual report shows that for the year ended Jmm 30. 6912 vessels of a net tonnage of 8,940.535. and a. gross tonnage of 15.410,047 entered the, liarbor. Ihe number of ships is 870 less than the preceding year, but the gross tonnage only decreased 218,538. The decrease is nearly all accounted for in the inter-State trade, largely due to the prolonged coal strike. The value of goods imported was Loo.75C.CC9, a drop of over £8.000,000. The exports were valued at nearly £34,750, COO. a. decline of over £15,000,000 oh the preceding year.
