SYDNEY HEAT WAVE
MANY WOMEN COLLAPSE SYDNEY, Dec. 25. The heat wave, in New South Wales continues. Some country registrations to-dav were as high as 108 degrees. Christmas shoppers in Sydney suffered the utmost discomfort in the busv thoroughfares, where a number of women collapsed and received. first aid, while at least 20 shop girls fainted. 'The shade temperature to-day was 9J, with 45 per cent, humidity.
