IN THE EAST END
PRINCE SPENDS AN HOUR LONDON, Dec. JO. The Prince of Wales this afternoon paid a. visit lo the Fast End of London, and spent tin hone inspecting various activities in the ('tinning Town Dockland Settlement, also in witnessing a film of it, including their Majesties talking to the 77-years-ohl Mrs. Peters, one of the oldest members of the Mothers’ Meeting section. The Prince asked if he could see Mrs. Peters, with whom ho shook hands and chatted. Mrs. Peters says it was the proudest moment of her life. “I’ve had a cup of lea with the King and Queen aiul Princess Mary and spoken to Princess Beatrice," she said. “Now rnv dearest wish has been gratified—l’ve shaken bands witji the dear Prince of Wales.”
