SWIMMING
INTER-SCHOOL SPORTS CONCLUDING RESULTS Competition in the inter schools swimming sports continued keen until the close of the I'iiiicHoii at the Gisborne Central baths yesterday afternoon, and the carnival was productive of the utmost excitement for the onlookers, a large proportion of whom comprised children from the various town ami suburban schools. The Gisborne Central swimmers were most successful in Hie greater nunibeT ol events, as ini'd.d have been ex per led, bul there was strong rcpreseulat ion of the other schools in some ol the contests, and the Kait i swimmers in particular gained much credit for their school.
