PRISONERS ESCAPE FROM VAN (Received Nov. 15, 2 p.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 15. Two men on remand in connection with charges of alleged complicity in house Freaking were being transported in the police van through a busy street in Annaudalo when they tore up the floor boards, dropped through, and escaped. Another prisoner’s efforts .to alarm the driver of the escort were counteracted for some time by the noise of the traffic. Then th 6 constables received the surprise of their lives. The men are still at large.
