POOL’S FINANCIAL PROBLEMS OTTAWA, Nov. 14. The Dominion Bureau of Statistics estimates this year's wheat crop at 395.854.000 bushels. 11 000.000 bushels more than the preliminary estimate. The Winnipeg Wheat Pool proposal to extend the repayment loan to banks over a period of years with no payment in 1931. is reported to be unacceptable to tho banks, which propose instead, that the provincial governments float a loan, nceopt farmers’ securities, and pay off the bank.
