The attendance was fair and the track good. Spring Hurdles: 3 Membo 1, I Paris , 2, 1 Makeup 3. All started. Won ; by three lengths, and four lengths. Time, 3.40. Plate: 2 Paratoo 1, 9 Tripping 2, 1 Salmo Salar 3. Scratched: Houslow, Cadland, Ben Hur, Night Parade, Havaspot. St raigli bourse, Lord Thomond, CJiarmeuse, Impertinence, Merry Cry, Hawkshaw. Riri, Master Anomaly, Tippling, Musent Miss, and Mythology. Won by three-quarters of a length, and three lenghts. Time L4O 2-5. N.Z. CUP
WIIANGAREI MEETING (Per Press Association.) WIIANGAREI, this day. The races are being held in beautiful weather and with a large attendance. Kauri Handicap: 5 Land Measure 1, 6 Red Lion 2. 3 Gay Idea 3. All started. Won by three-quarters of a length, and two lengths. Time, 1.3 1-5.
