VICE-REGAL TOUR
SOUTH ISLAND VISIT (Per Tress Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Governor-General and Lady lUedisloo left Wellington for Christchurch last evening. They will-attend the opening day of. the Canterbury Jockey Club's spring meeting and, after fulfilling a number of engagements, will.visit Mount Cook l’or two days. They, return to Christchurch ,ou November 13 and.on November J 7 will leave for oilieial visits to Timaru and Oaniuru. On November 2S, Their Excellencies return to Wellington, where they will remain in residence until after Christmas.
