Annpama. swam boldly across tho river, famous for its treacherous currents, and completed the course in 15 minutes. Sin' finished none the worse for the attempt. The winner was one of Bengal’s best long-distance swimmers, K. P. Bakshi, whose time was Omin. 2sec. The pigtailed child will receive a special prize.
