THE MALTESE UNREST
COMMISSION URGED ANTI-BRITISH PROPAGANDA LONDON, Nov. 5. In the House of Lords, Lord .Strickland, at length, called attention to affairs in Malta, complaining of the banning of certain newspapers by the ecclesiastical authorities, and Italian Imperialist and anti-British propaganda by the Maltese papers printed in Italian,., which are subsidised from albroad. Ho suggested the appointment of a Royal Commission to sot up a new constitution. Lord I‘assfield, replying, said there was no question of any alteration in Malta's position as one of the Dominions, hut every means was being explored to re-establish the constitution of a firm basis.
