BASIS OF AGREEMENT CONFERENCE NEXT YEAR LONDON, Nov. 5. The Daily Herald’s lobby correspondent says that an agreement, at the Imperial Conference is likely to he reached on the basis of the stabilisation of existing preferences for perhaps two or three years, while the question of Imperial trade reciprocity will be further explored. Meantime, the conference will meet in Canada early next year.
