CO-OPERATIVE WORK
COMPANY FORMED IN N.Z. '[’lie Organised Unemployed and Relief Workers’ Committee of Christchurch has boon registered as. a company, and if proposes to appeal to tho public for capital to carry on a, scries of co-operative enterprises. Those include co-operative contracting, cooperative casual work, gardening and spring cleaning, co-opcrativo tailoring, cleaning, pressing, repairing, accountancy, and general bookkeeping. The promoters claim that by tho establishment of tbeso and other businesses, (lie unemployment position will be greatly relieved. It is frankly stated that those taking up shares are at no time to expect a. dividend, and will not receive any direct interest from their investments. The Government is understood lo ho interested, in tho scheme.
