Samuel, ALP. for Thames, announces that after having given the matter close consideration, he has decided not to seek re-election next year. The main reason is that ho has suffered a had recurrence of a trouble that necessitated an operation about IS months ago, and he fears .that his health may not enable him to do justice to his large electorate. Air. Samuel proposes going to London early in the coming year to consult a specialist.
