REDUCTION OF SALARIES
BOROUGH COUNCIL DECISION (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. The Onehunga Borough Council derided to rednee the salaries of all employees receiving £4 10s or more by 15 per cent. The honorarium of tho Mayor will be similarly reduced. The decision is to be reviewed in three months. It was stated that the revenue was not coining in, and there might be a shortage of £2OOO.
