BRUTAL ROBBERY
TRAM MAN ATTACKED ANOTHER SYDNEY CRIME (Received Nov. 4, noon.) SYDNEY, Nov. 4. Battered into insensibility by two men wlm hoarded his tram at Botany. Lindsay Elms, a tram conductor,’was robbed .of his takings, amounting to several pounds. Hi' later was admitted to hospital. The Irani had, only a lew people almai'd, and before anyone could intervene Elms was sandbagged and Lis hag pulled from his shoulders.
