NEW FREEZING PROCESS

. MAT BENEFIT DOMINIONS LONDON, October 16. Mr. Hey wood, an Australian veterinary surgeon, visited Fleetwood to inspect a new freezing apparatus called the Z process, invented by an Esthonian, Zarot3chenzeff, which is expected to revolutionise freezing methods. Mr. Heywood was greatly impressed. He said that if it could be applied in Australia it might put the Commonwealth on the same basis as Argentina in the meat export trade. Meat can be frozen with great speed and effectiveness, moderate sized pieces taking 45 minutes, compared with 24 hours under other processes. It remains to be seen, however, whether the Z process can be applied to large portions of rheal.
