A slight anticyclone was crossing the northern portion of the Dominion today, while a depression of the westerly Ifcypo was moving on to the southern portion. Conditions arc still rather disturbed near Norfolk Island. Winds: Southerly at first from Auckland northwards. hut otherwise, winds veering to west' and north and freshening gradually. Seas (N.Z. waters): Moderate generally, 'but rising south of t ape figment and about Foveaux. Si rail. Tasman Sea : Moderate to strong west to north winds, and smooth to moderate but rising seas in the eastern Tasman.
