THREAT TO RAILWAYS
CHICAGO, October 19. The city nutorities threaten to use police to stop all the trains of four railroads at crossings unless the railways agree to begin the work on construction contracts, costing £4,000,000, as thiy city wants work -for 400,000 unemployed.
