NTEMEYER TO ADVISE LONDON, June 20. "The Commonwealth has chosen well in selecting Sir Otto Niemeyer, who is exceptionally qualified to consult as a representative of the Bank of England regarding Australia's financial position," says the city editor of the Times. "Few men have such a wide experience of the problems with which Australia is at present- faced. There is no doubt that the credit of Australia will gain by the adoption of any proposals which lie thinks- fit to recommend. "The Commonwealth authorities are to he congratulated upon the, step they have taken, which has produced a good impression in the city, and shows that, the Commonwealth is anxious (o obtain the best advice possible- in dealing with the present exceptionally difficult situation."
