Ways with Coral
£OR A L bends are often combined nowadays with other semi-precious gems. J*or instance, a necklace of medium-sized beads branches in front, into lialf-a-dnzen strings of tiiiy ones, whitdi hang in loops, between two large cut crystal beads. In a similar necklet the small corals were threaded on either side through carved, fiat circles of lapis lazuli, while a third combined coral of the brightest shade with ehrysopriise ami onyx. Strings of graduated coral beads are worn by fastidious women who cannot afford real pearls, and fashion experts prophesy, in consequence of the coral craze, t lint shades of pink to lone wit h it will be among the most popular colors this spring.
