STRIKE IN TOKIO
9000 TRANSPORT WORKERS TOKIO, April 19. Obedient overnight to their leaders' orders, 9000 municipal street car and motor bus employees struck this morning. The authorities are mobilising emergency operators iu an endeavor to maintain‘a reduced street car service. The police are allowing taxi cab services to replace the motor buses. Eight hundred policemen are on guard at the car barns in order to prevent sabotage.
