The Post Office js considering the opening of a Public Telegraph Exchange to ■provide an automatic printing device whereby subscribers will bo able to type write ho eg eh ether without the intervention of an operator. _ The machines will he able to receive incoming telegrams from the post office, and messages when the subscriber is out. It is expcctn £7O a year will be charged for the service.
