A JITTER CONFERENCE ATTACK ON GOVERNMENT (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) SYDNEY,-April 20. The Easter conference of the NewSouth Wales Labor Party was again marked by bitterness, recriminations and factional lighting between the Lang and Theodore groups, which culminated in the removal from office of Mr. A. .T. MacPherson, organising secretary, who was adjudged guilty of working against the Lang faction. Mr. Lang, leader of the Opposition, addressed the conference. He appealed to workers to resist the propaganda which is being poured out by the Bavin Government and employers’ organisations in order to bring down the standard of living. lie declared that the workers had already lost the basie wage and the 44-hours week, and were fighting for their very existence. A deliberate attempt was being made to smash unionism.
