A CHEERLESS EASTER
CONDITIONS IN ENGLAND COLDEST FOR 10 YEARS (British Official Wireless.) Rec. noon. RUGBY, April 20. England is experiencing cheerless Easter weather. Yesterday was tho coldest experienced, here for 10 years, with the thermometer seldom above 50 degrees Fahrenheit. There were bright spells, but many sharp storms. Storms continue to-day, to the discomfort, of holiday-makers. Holiday-makers in southern England were greeted by a snowstorm. In London there was a brief thunderstorm and elsewhere low temperatures, heavy rain, hail, sleet and northerly winds reaching gale force. Mr. Ramsay MacDonald and his daughter Isbbel were practically blown from the golf links at Lossimouth. it. is cold alsp in France and Germany.
