ORDERS FOR BRITAIN £20,000,000 WORTH IN 1930 LONDON, April 19. The Observer’s Moscow correspondent says: “The first fruits of the AngloSoviet treaty are announced by M. Saul Bron, the Russian trade representative in England, who is visiting Moscow. M. Bron states that an agreement has been reached to purchase £3,000,000 worth of feitisilers, dyes and metals during two years from the Imperial Chemical Trust, which will supply technical aid for the development of a Soviet chemical industry. Another agreement has been reached for purchases valued at £2,000,000 from Metropolitan Vickers, while ArrnstrongVickers are providing tractors. M. Bron declares that Russian orders during 1930 will reach £20,000,000, besides a great increase in ship chartering.
