ROWING TO CANTERBURY (Per PreRR Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. The annual inter-mniversity, 'tournament is now in progress. The preliminary rounds of tennis were decided yesterday and the finals will be played to-morrow. The eight-oar rowing race over two miles was contested by Wellington, Canterbury and Auckland. The race was won by Canterbury by a length from Wellington, with Auckland five lengths back. Time, 14min.
