The majority of the students in the many universities in which he had leelured in America. lie said, believed in the existence of a. Supreme. Being, hut there was practically always a small group of men and women who prolessed atheism. Steps should he taken, lie said, to prevent professors and lecturers irom spreading atheism. He had himself led a movement of protest, which had resulted in three lecturers being dismissed from one American university. It. was remarkable, he continued, how atheism had secured a hold in many universities, lie attributed it to the. fact that many students had not had the full meaning of the existence.ol God explained to them before their entry into the university life.
