GISBORNE PLACINGS (Special to the Herald.) NAPIER, this clay. fhis morning’s session of the Napier Competitions festival the following Gisborne competitors secured placings:— In the Highland fling, 14 to 18 years, John Thodey was placed second with 85 points, and Isabel Sharpies was very highly commended. There were four entries. In the sword dance, up to 14 years, Colleen Pe.rston was placed second with 77 points. There were 15 entries. Iu the Sean Truihhais, 14 to 18 years, Isabel SluVples tied- for first place With 91 points, and John Thodey wa&>fhird with 90 points. There were ntrios.
