Tho South Island rifle shooting championships were continued on Saturday, additional results lieing as follows: Blenheim match. 10 shots at 600 yards.—A grade: 24, P. W. Congreve, Old Navnls, 47: £3, J. f\ Feast Greytown, 46; £2. 11, V. Searle, Nelson, 46. Seven took £1 with scores from 46 to 44, and 12 took 10s with scores from 44 to 4). B grade: £2, W. P. Brown. Havelock, 46; £1 Is. F. Young, Kaiapoi, 45 : £l. G. Stark, Kaiapoi, 44.
Southland match. 10 sliols at. 800 yards.—A grade: 24, A. N. Masefield, Blenheim, 49; £3, IT. H. Alclntosh, Blenheim, 49: £2. J. McKay, Renwick. 49. Seven with scores of 48 take £l, and 12 with 47 to 45 take 10s.
P> grade: £2. A. W. Hughes, Owen Junction, 48; Cl Is. C. Pickering. Opaki, 48; £l, P. W. Congreve, Old Navals. 46.
E. M. Wrigley. Opaki. won the Midfield aggregate for the highest score in all matches front 300 to 600 yards, with a score of 230. \V. McLean. Old Navals, was runner-up. with 227. E. M. Wriglev is also leading for the South Island Championship Bell, with 275. He takes the Barker Cup. HAWKE’S BAY MEETING (Per Press Association.) NAPIER, last night, R. J. King (Opaki).won the champion licit and gold medal with 211 at the Hawke’s Bay Rifle Association’s Easter meeting at Roys Hill on Sautrduy, and R. Nicholson (Napier) being runner-up with 210. Napier won the champion teams match, wit'll Okawa second, and Wairakei third.
King also won the Midfiohl aggregate (139) and optional aggregate (lfi.V).
