Tom Thumb led Jean McEhvyn, Logan Chief, and King Pointer into tho straight, and an exciting finish between tile three first-named resulted in Logan Chief getting up on the post, to beat Tom Thumb by half a head, with Jean McEhvyn half a head away, third. Linkman was two lengths away, just in front of Harold Thorpe, Cardinal Logan, and Jewel Pointer.

In the Autumn Handicap, Katue was in front at the end of the furlong, with Dolores, Tonic, and Duke Bingen next. Passing the stand, Tonic joined Dolores in tho lead, with Duke Bingen and Happy Rose just behind them, while Ukelele Lady was at the head of the next bunch. Dolores took charge going down tho back, and at the mile post she was just free of Tonic and Duke Bingen, with Happy Rose, Ukelele Lady and Sarsaparilla not far away. The order of the leaders was unchanged starting on the last lap, but half a mile from home Ukelele Lady ran up to Dolores, Tonic, and Duke Bingen, who were in a bunch. Dolores was just in front of Ukelele Lady at tho home turn, where Duke Bingen and Tonic were just behind her. Duke Bingen ran to the front in the straight and won easily by three lengths from Ukelele Lady, who heat Dolores by a similar margin, with Tonic fourth.
