HUNTING CRY NOT AMISS A REPORT DENIED A recenj report that Mr. T. Fraser’s crack three-year-old Hunting Cry was so lame that hi' probably would not race again, is emphatically denied by Mr. Game Carrington, (lie Gisborne st ml mast it and owner of Hunting Cry’s sire. Hunting Hong. Mr. Carrington had an opportunity of seeing the three-year-old last week, and staled to-day that slight soreness had been caused through the loss of a shoe. A .second shoe was removed, and tin' horse left in a hard paddock, which played up with his feet. When lie was moved to fresh pasture, however, he rapidly improved, and his condition gives no ground for 'concern. He is being spelled in accordance willi previous arrangements in anticipation of spring engagements.
