The spring collections Were out in time to contribute to the many sports, evening, and afternoon toilettes Lady Hledisloc needed. Some of her afternoon gowns, and 'most of those for the evening, had long full skirts, but none. of thorn trailed on theUoor.
There were many tennis frocks; tennis is one of the leading pastimes of the residents at Government House in summer, and the golf course is not far From the private grounds. Lady Pledisloe will not need her summer things until late in the year, hut is prepared for winter with warm tweeds and flits.
