DELUGE IN SYDNEY
RACES MAY EE SPOILED SYDNEY, April 16. Approximately 3in. of rain, amounting to a deluge, 'has fallen during the past 2-1 hours, swamping Randwiek racecourse and the Royal Show ground. It is still showery, and inclement. The weather is seriously affecting the show, and it is feared that it will spoil the race carnival opening on Saturday.
